Demande d’informations étrange sur la traduction au Québec

J’ai reçu un appel assez étrange ce matin. Après avoir vérifié si j’étais bel et bien traductrice et l’adresse de mon site Web, un homme m’a demandé s’il pouvait venir chez moi sur le champ pour que je lui donne des informations sur la traduction au Québec. Ce qui m’agace, c’est qu’il insistait pour venir chez moi. Je lui ai répondu que je n’étais pas disponible, mais qu’il pouvait trouver des informations sur la traduction en consultant des sites tels que Proz ou l’OTTIAQ. En raccrochant, j’ai vérifié son numéro de téléphone sur l’afficheur : il ne provenait pas du Québec, mais bien des États-Unis. Bref, tout ça me semble très louche… Avez-vous déjà reçu un appel semblable?

J'irais même jusqu'à demander à mon opérateur de téléphonie de bloquer le numéro en question (si c'est possible).
À défaut d'autre chose, cela créerait un précédent bien utile en cas de recours contre ce personnage !
Et... comme déjà dit, il existe des sites officiels qui fournissent suffisamment d'informations (OTTIAQ, ATIO & co.) pour que l'intéressé moyennement cultivé puisse s'y retrouver.

J'ai sans arrêt des appels de ce genre: de grecques, l'italiennes, de françaises, de suissesses, d'anglaises, de danoises, d'allemandes, de chinoises...
Pour les recevoir comme il se doit, j'envisage d'ailleurs d'ouvrir un cabinet avec salle d'attente, secrétariat et surveillance électronique, ou bien peut-être un fan club.
