Dear Colleagues

I'm interested in having opinions and advice from anyone who has had experience in dealing with documentation management.

I know that using XML is an effective way of producing documents in a wide range of formats. Do you think it's the best in terms of being able to generate mutiple formats in the source text and then use one single file for translation of are there other methods? I get the impression that writing documents in XML is a complicated process (configuring dtds, etc.). Perhaps there are easier methods, or perhaps someone knows of a good resource where I could learn.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ana
