Arabic ecommerce help

Hi everyone.

Hope you enjoyed a really nice holiday season. I have some questions that I am struggling to find the answers to. I am hoping someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

I have a client looking to expand into MENA. They currently do high volume, low $ sales online. The cart software they use is not able to capture orders in Arabic. I need a solution. Can you help with the following questions?

1. What is standard practice in MENA for ecommerce carts? Is it acceptable to have Arabic field text, but ask that the input be in Western Characters?

2. Can anyone recommend a cart solution we might try?

3. Can anyone recommend an ecommerce expert for MENA region?

Any thoughts on providing a solid solution would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Russell

Hi,

Some further questions.

What is standard in MENA?

Is it acceptable to have the cart field labels in Arabic, but request the customer information in Western characters?

Sure appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,
