Hello everyone,
I am taking my first foray into studying localization.
I have started with resort and travel sites.
Below is a supposed French/English translation.
I do not understand what they have done.
Input if you have time please.
Hotel 1 ( will not be named)
"Chaleureux, disponible et peu cher! pour beaucoup de services!"
Translation:
"Wonderfully restful".
Hotel 2
"100% conseillent"
"Relaxing break in a beautiful setting."
I should mention these are from very well known travel sites.

These are not translations. They are reviews by users. The listed reviews differ per language. The first review on the French version was written by a French-speaking user, whereas the first one on the English website was written by and English user. They are not related at all.

This one brought a smile to my face. I can just imagine myself making the same mistake, as I've seen similar cases of widely disparate translations in touristy texts, and English is often more concise than Romance languages...
