I have been trying to follow up the reference, but I'm not even sure what the original language might be, as I know WW is German but he has made films in many languages.

So if anyone could give me any leads I'd be very grateful:-) TIA

As far as I can tell, the book in question was written (in Spanish) by Palazón and is about WW and his films.

See e.g.

The quote is written in Catalan, and not Spanish. I had never heard about the author though, but I am not a WW specialist myself.

Yes, the way the info is presented it was made to appear that it was WW's quote but if it's Palazón's there's no problem:-)

Ruben, it would be a tragic thing if as a CAT translator as per my profile, I wasn't able to recognise my source language:-) Sorry to mislead you, I meant to say the 'original language of the quote':-)

Sorry! Sep 26, 2005

LOL! I didn't realize you were a CAT translator. Since the title of the book was in Spanish, I thought there might be some misunderstanding. Sorry about that.

Que vagi molt bé!
