Dear Colleagues,
I need a link to the transliteration system from Russian to English developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI). I would really appreciate your help.

Dear Mussuri,

I surfed around a little but didn't find much. Maybe this link will help you further:

Kind regards
Erik

British Standard for Cyrillic May 10, 2007

Hello

I think the standard you probably need is "BS 2979:1958 Transliteration of Cyrillic and Greek characters", it costs £72 and can be bought from BSI - their Customer Services number is 020 8996 9001.

There's also a useful new guide for anyone offering translation services, based on BS EN 15038 "The Translation Service Provider's Guide to BS EN 15038". There's info on BSI's website if you want more infroamtion and sample pages.

Hope that helps!
