I hear that this package is no longer available from MS. Instead, MS want you to upgrade to Office XP, and then purchase Proofing Tools 2002, all told a cost of some $300-350, vs. the $80 or so, without the upgrade.
Or you could find a vendor still offering this, full package or shrink wrap.
Does anyone have information about such a vendor in the US?

If you have Office 2K and proofing tools for it
May 9, 2003
just install the Office 2K with them and after that upgrade it to XP.
Proofing tools will continue to work
Also you can make backup of Programm Files\\Common Files\\Microsoft Shared\\Proof
of your Office 2K and copy it in the same place after installing Office XP.
I should think it\'s not the breach of copyright... [addsig]

TOPIC STARTER
XP coercion
May 9, 2003
That\'s good to know, if I decide to upgrade to Office 2002/XP. I don\'t know what advantage there is to that. MS is obviously trying to coerce people to buy XP, by making Proofing tools 2000 prematurely obsolete.
