A lot of valuable and useful information from translators for translators. It's worth checking it

"If you walk through the corridors of the Translation Service and look in through any of the many open doors you pass, you will see translators at work.
But you won't see them translating. You will see them typing, murmuring into a dictaphone, leafing through a dictionary, gazing out a window or talking on the telephone. They may even be absent, in the library doing research.
What you see is the production of text. The actual business of translating takes place in some invisible realm which cannot be visited by an observer (and sometimes not even by the translators themselves).
In the Workshops we have set out to explore this realm, and what you will find in this website are the results of our explorations."
