I have heard much about logoport but I have never used it. Does anyone have experience with this platform? How is there the copyright question solved?

No, but surely this isn't "off topic"

There is a forum about technical help for CAT tools, maybe it would go better in there.

Just another CAT tool
Aug 28, 2008
Logoport is just another CAT tool, just like Trados, Deja Vu and the rest. The only difference being that with most CAT tools, the TM (translation memory) resides locally on your pc. Whereas with Logoport (and a few other tools) there is a central TM that resides on a dedicated server which you have to log into through the internet.
As to copyright, that's the same with any other CAT tool.

This means you need fast broadband access (I would say as a ballpark min. 2 megs but maybe it's even more) for it to run more or less smoothly.
