I have never been in an online training and would be very interested in knowing your experience in online training. What was:
-the most useful
-the most funny
-the cheaper
-the most expensive

online training you ever had.

Hope it is interesting for everybody

My favorite online training course Sep 5, 2008

It was actually a 70.000 words online training course that I translated. It was about safe computing, data security, fishers (data fishing over the phone, too, most people aren't aware of that), hackers and workplace safety.

To answer your questions:

-the most useful

The above mentioned training course that is available only to companies for the purpose of employee training and which can only be booked for groups. It equals a three day seminar.

-the most funny

I had a lot of fun - it was brilliantly written, witty and entertaining. The videos, the way it was built and even the (quite challenging) tests were outstanding.

-the cheaper

Most certainly the ultimate value - I was paid for learning all this stuff that I couldn't have imagined in my worst nightmares. It certainly changed my business practices.

-the most expensive

Attending this online course costs $$$$ per participant.

Other than that, I don't take any online courses.

Reason: You never can tell if they are of any value until you signed up. And paid in full, of course.

I removed some of the postings Sep 5, 2008

I removed some of the postings from this thread as they contained personal remarks and were straying off-topic. Please keep the discussion focused on the topic.
Thank you

Oops, that's right. Sep 9, 2008

Phishing.

Guess, I was in German mode when I wrote it. If it matters at all.

Greetings!
