Hello everyone

I'm doing a translation from French to English about different types of employment contracts. I have to find the British equivalent each different type of contract. Does anyone know a good British resource?

Thanks in advance.

Ana

Hi Ana,

Sorry I don't have a specific site in mind, but I'd search for information on contracts under the general category of "uk employment law".

If you have a rough idea of what you're looking for, the Eurofound site (European industrial relations observatory) now has good full-text search capabilities and a glossary which can be searched by country:

http://www.eurofound.eu.int/emire/emire.html

The ILO also publishes a wealth of information for different countries but again you have to have time to hunt around a bit:

http://www.ilo.org/public/english/support/lib/dblist.htm

HTH a little anyway - Deborah
