Glossaries/CD-Roms for "vacation" translating

Hi,

I'm planning on going home to UK for a while and will be taking laptop with me for work but don't intend to take my business, financial, legal dictionaries, etc. Can anyone suggest any decent CD-Roms, specialised online glossaries, etc. to have close by? I translate from Spanish to English. A useful English CD-Rom would be handy too!

Webster's Unabridged Dictionary (English)
Diccionario de María Moliner (Spanish)
Oxford Superlex (En Sp)

IMF Glossary (En Sp)
Routledge Business Dictionary (not my favorite, En Sp)



Those are the ones I have; I am sure there are many better dictionaries for business and finance. The three general dictionaries at the top of the list are pretty much the best around and fortunately they have a CD-ROM version.

I know how unpleasant is to travel with kilograms of books or papers, and even to have to pay for overloading. But usually we are used to some ressources so much, that if we left them we'd keep saying "I should have taken at least that dictionary" and would think about making it bring by somebody else when (s)he visits us.

Before you leave, try to get used to the online ressources you don't know, for English and Spanish I think of RAE and Merriem and Webster.<... See more

I have the Maria Moliner in 2 volumes, and wouldn't leave without it (unless I was ready to invest in the CDRom), but don't forget that all these little things are expensive.
I was given Power Translator 7 (CDRom) and it's dictionaries are not bad at all, but don't ask them too much. ▲ Collapse
