Try GlossPost Nov 28, 2009

ProZ has a large collection of glossaries under GlossPost – it is a very good place to start your hunt for glossaries.

4.1 - What is GlossPost? [Direct link]

GlossPost is a searchable database of links to glossaries on the Internet. It has been compiled by members of ProZ.com and the YahooGroup of the same name created in February 2000 by Brazilian translator and conference interpreter Maria Eugenia Farre. The database is maintained by a group of volunteer moderators, however any ProZ.com member can search the database or submit new glossary URLs.

The field categories could sometimes be more specific -- but in the present case this does not seem to be a problem. If you specify the language pair (English to Spanish), and select "Metallurgy" among the possible fields, you will get 28 search results. Some are too general to be useful, but some are certainly worth taking a look at, e.g., http://www.mundoacero.com/diccionario.asp , http://www.mazzoleni.it/glo,en.htm , etc.

To make GlossPost even more useful, please add new resources to it and correct broken links.

Kind regards,
Attila

One link is found to be somehow useful, the others won't help.

Many thanks indeed,

Glosspost broken links Nov 29, 2009

I have never found a way to correct or even flag broken links. The Proz staff told me to send them a support ticket when I find one. There are a lot of them, which makes Glosspost unfortunately less useful. If you've found a way to correct them, please advise!

Susan

OT: Broken GlossPost links Nov 30, 2009

Hi Susan,

Yes, that's the way to go: report it via a support ticket, or send an email to the GlossPost moderators, Maria Eugenia Farre, Parrot, or Denyce Seow.

Kind regards,
Attila
