If you're using WIN XP, it's included

There's a program included as part of the Windows acessories Start | Programs | Accessories | Entertainment | Sound recorder
It may have been included with earlier versions of Windows as well, but I don't know at what juncture it was included.
Your sound card may also have a sound recording utility. You'll have to look in the Program files folder. To get it to work, you'll need to attach a microphone to your sound card. Hope this helps, Kevin

Voice recording

I have found the best one for voice recording is Dragon Naturally Speaking from Scan Soft. It has build-in dictionaries and can be obtained in several specialties. It is only, so far, made in 5 languages, but has capability of being programmed. ScanSoft.com can give you further information. If you need other information please contact me. I used the 6.0 verion most, but have just bought DNS 7.1.
