"The German Civil Code contains special provisions governing standard contract terms entitled "The Standard Contract Terms Act (Gesetz zur Regelung des Rechts der Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen, AGB-Gesetz)." The Act contains a general provision prohibiting contract terms that are unreasonable and contrary to the requirements of good faith. The Act also specifies contract provisions that are void per se, and that are void subject to the default reasonableness test. The following is a reproduction of the critical part of the Standard Contract Terms Act in the German language. An unofficial English translation is provided."

Hi Kim,

Thanks for your link. I recently came across this one (http://www.iuscomp.org/gla/statutes/statutes.htm) which, though subject to a disclaimer, would appear to be a useful tool.

Kind regards,
Rob

(2 min. later: Um, sorry David. Didn't note your link well enough.)
