I'm looking to buy a number of specialized French>English dictionaries. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good online bookseller. I know I can certainly find some myself, but I always prefer a good recommendation to just mucking around myself, praying for a good result.

I know I found a good German>English bookseller-located in Germany-who seemed to have every conceivable dictionary one might need and the latest editions-which I greatly prefer.

I was hoping to find the same thing in French. Perhaps a bookseller located in a French-speaking country who would have the widest range of French>English dictionaries at decent prices.

Merci beaucoup.

You may buy online or visit their store in New York City. Hope this helps!

I have ordered from them before and found them very good - they have a huge stock (see online catalogue) and send by airmail (http://www.grantandcutler.com).(This last point may seem obvious but it wasn't to Amazon in Germany)!
I think bookshops in French-speaking countries might favour EN>FR dictionaries over FR>EN ones, when it comes to purchasing stock.

...snip...

This is only slightly off-topic; an actual Fr-En technical dico. I recently bought Henri Goursau's Dictionnaire Technique et Scientifique Francais-Anglais for £50 (about $80) at Grant & Cutler, London. It's rather small (18 x 12 x 5 cm, 930 pages, about 50 lines per page, more than one translation on some lines) but it has provided useful answers to lots of questions I have had for it. I think it's a surprisingly good general sci-tech dico (not medical). It claims to have 80000 translations.
