what the title said, really - I would like to get my feet wet translating medical texts, and am looking for examples to try.

can anyone help?

A couple of suggestions May 11, 2004

http://www.vulgaris-medical.net has articles on an enormous range of topics, and http://emea.eu.int (more pharmaceutical than generally medical) has masses of texts relating to drugs. You can download, for instance, a summary of product characteristics (what a drug is for, how it works, warnings etc.) for a particular product in French, translated it, and then download the English version to see how you got on.
