German to English
The Microsoft glossaries are from English into the different languages.
If you insert the glossaries from EN-DE and EN-FR into an tmerinology database, you can use the language combination DE-FR too.

Software from Microsoft being in English US, glossaries are only designed to be from English US to xx languages.
So the only way to really have a GermanFrench glossary would be to use their English->German and English->French glossaries and merge them according to the common English source/resource when applicable. But to be honest, when you do such thing, it adds a step which is a risk for accuracy of your merged glossary so I would like to warn you and stress this is far from 100% proof.
I hope this answers your issue, though it is far from ideal.

Et c'est inutile d'essayer de les "merge", les glossaires français ayant davantage de données que les allemands.
Je travaille avec les deux ouverts dans 2 fenêtres différentes sous Agent Ransack (un graticiel de recherche) et passe par l'anglais.
