Hi everyone,

Could someone recommend to me a good Spanish->English dictionary, whether online or as hard copy, on computer terminology, including virus terminology? Thanks very much in advance, all suggestions are very welcome!

Try the IT Information Technology Dictionary compiled by MICROSOFT.
Mind you though that IT is an ever changing area and all dictionaries pubished on hard copy are quite soon outdated.

Dear Cassie,

Thanks for your reply. Is this an online dictionary or otherwise? Is it Spanish to English? Call me Google-challenged, but I can't find any reference to it on the internet.

Terminology Sep 22, 2004

TermCat and EuskalTerm can be useful. Although always check their suggestions. You may find TermCat hard to use if you don't speak Catalan as when you search you have to then pick an entry from a list in Catalan, but you can search in whichever language you wish. Euskalterm lists all the information for all the records containing your search, so it will be much easier to find the entry you want.

I am afraid it is a hard copy... It is basically an English-"Target Language" Dictionary but it can be used both ways due to the index in the target language that it contains at the back.
