How do we link a downloaded Glossary to a CAT?

I am a novice freelance translator and don\'t know yet how to link a glossary downloaded from the net to my CAT (MetaTexis). Is there a secret formula I\'ve missed so far or do I have to contact the CAT provider?

Thank you in advance for any piece of information you can provide in this matter.
