I'm indebted for this resource to Kim Metzger, and have been testing it for the past few days in connection with reviving currently dead-end links in GlossPost.

The Wayback Machine enables you to browse content cached at the Internet Archive as far back as 1996 and "restore" web pages to the state they were in at roughly approximate dates.

And I'm indebted to you for the idea of using it to track down dead glossary links - two missing-in-action specimens found safe and well already. Now to work out how one goes about reviving them...

This is great, like discovering there's a secret "out-of-print and hard-to-find" shelf out the back of the bookshop!
Thank you very much, Parrot.

They're not really revived. What you see is a kind of 'ghost' in caché memory. Albeit, operative.
