Diesel engine reference material - piezo unit injectors Thread poster: TransWolf

Does anyone know of any good sites explaining diesel engine unit injectors. I've found a few things on solenoid-type unit injectors, but I really need information on piezo-type unit injectors. This is pretty new technology so it's hard to find stuff!

I found some useful very specific wordlists at manufacturer's sites, in my case, music, a manufacturer for drums......

The VW group websites would be a good place to start, seeing as it's their vehicles the injectors are fitted in. Or Bosch, who developed the Pumpe-Düse technology in the first place.

Please have a look at this excellent article that includes an (albeit brief) bilingual glossary of difficult terms. I've found it very helpful for a project an hybrid engines I worked in a while ago.

Not sure what you're getting at Somerset, piezo microphones for drum miking?
Yep, got the manufacturer's website, but sadly they only have a general press release on this unit injector - my text gets quite technical.
