My Swedish colleague in the UK, Anette Herbert, gave us a very good tip on the Norskjal list (Nordic countries list):

http://www.georgetown.edu/faculty/ballc/webtools/web_freqs.html

With the aid of this URL you can get statistics on the words in a document.
This can be useful if you work with search-and-replace techniques and there are cerainly other uses for other purposes.

I'm certain it's not the only program. Please tell us all if you know an alternative/better program.

Best regards

Hmmmm... Apr 14, 2005

I'm not quite sure what the problem is (or was), the link worked just fine for me - from the get go. I really meant my post: I think it will be handy in searching for and replacing terms.

Again, thank you.

Impossible d'afficher la page
La page que vous recherchez est actuellement indisponible. Le site Web rencontre peut-être des difficultés techniques, ou vous devez modifier les paramètres de votre navigateur.

That is what I get, even now. I will try with other links given on ProZ and investigate.

At lest I know it should work and there is nothiing wrong with the URL

Thanks for the replies.

Also for tables Apr 14, 2005

It's a really fine website. On http://www.georgetown.edu/faculty/ballc/webtools/web_chi.html
you can also create tables for calculation (though I'm far from being an expert for "Chi Square"!).
