Dear friends,

I am doing a research on Nigerian English, and have to find a few words here and there to translate a little text FROM Nigerian English.

I have used Google and exhausted any existing links. Do you have any matieral out there which could help me? Or anyone willing to answer privately to some questions from me?

Thank you!

Hugs,
Flavio

Hola Flavio,
Cordiales saludos
Janfri

Pidgeon English May 10, 2005

Hi Flavio,

The Nigerian English is called pidgeon English. IF you don't find any examples online, this is a Nigerian forum where you can ask the members about pidgeon English.

Hi Flavio.
Berni had posted a Nigerian Pidgin Dictionary on GlossPost.
Just enter keyword "pidgin" and it comes up.
Or go directly here:

Do you mean Nigerian English, i.e. the Nigerian variant of standard English, or Nigerian pidgin English? I don't think that these are the same, as other answerers have assumed.

Regards
David
