Does anybody know of an online German->English dictionary that could handle mechanical terms (it appears that the potential project involves roller coaster construction) or mechanical engineering terms?

Thanks in advance.

Here are some Jun 18, 2005

Many links here (just search for glossary or terminology):
http://www.uqtr.uquebec.ca/~gonciar/des_mec.html

http://www.lipsie.com/it/glossario_meccanico.htm

http://www.cimac.com/cimaclexicon/lexicon.asp

When I do not find the term I'm looking for in the dictionaries or glossaries I have at hand, I proceed as follow.

Make a research on the source language term associated to a word in the target language, i.e.

- Einspritzpumpe engine gives a lot of sites, one of which is: http://www.brusmotors.com/pages/Vertaling.htm

- Pumpe glossary: http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new_cars/technology_glossary/Pumpe_Duse

"Personal made" glossaries are not always reliable.

It generally works.
Have a nice week-end.

This one is quite good Jun 18, 2005

It goes under the name of "Laixicon"

Another good one is LEO (link everything online):
