Does anybody know, if there's a German translation of the British Companies Act (1985)?

No translation that I'm aware of, in fact I can't think of any piece of at least semi-major UK (or US) legislation that has been published in German. Not much of a market, I think.

Of course the CA is similar in parts to the HGB, the AktG and the GmbHG because of the relevant EU Directives, so that might help you. And the other thing to remember is that the CA is a moving target, i.e. it has been amended many, many times since 1985.
