Dear all,

I was alerted to this source by Swedish KudoZer Mario Marcolin (Thanks!)

It contains official EU terminology in all 11 EU languages delivered as a search function or as a downloadable Excel file, where you can erase all languages you cannot use.

Seems quite comprehensive and solid:
http://europa.eu.int/celex/eurovoc/cgi/sga_doc?eurovoc_dif!SERVEUR/menu!prod!MENU&langue=EN

The search function does not seem to function at the moment but one can clcik one's way via the terms listed.

I prefer the Excel file.

Mats Wiman

Haven't had a chance to really test it yet, but this sounds useful.

Best regards,

Where is the Excel file? Aug 7, 2005

This sounds interesting, but I can't find the Excel file, only PDFs. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can't see direct equivalents between one language and another Aug 7, 2005

I can't quite figure out how this works. It is a list of terminology in various languages, but what is included seems to vary, and be in a different order, so it seems to take a lot of time to match up terminology.

The downloadable Excel file is at the bottom of the multilingual list page Aug 8, 2005

Dear Diana,

1. Use the link in my posting
2. Choose the alternative 'multilingual list'
3. At the bottom of that page you'll find it

Dear Astrid,

I also found the workings (and delays) of the site slow, so I chose the Excel version (see above)
