Excellent article on training linguists in sight translation Sep 19, 2005

Dear Gabe,

Greetings.

Thanks for announcing this new issue of _Translator's Journal_.

Greatly enjoyed the insightful and well-developed article about training, as conducted by universities in Turkey, of "working linguists" (generic term to encompass those becoming professional translators and interpreters) in sight translation. Good treatment of a series of progressive exercises.
