*Very* helpful! Sep 20, 2005

I just clicked on some random link and got a very interesting (and long!) article about the relationship between text-length and KB or MB - did you know that "It is estimated that a kilobyte can accommodate about 1/2 of a typewritten page. Therefore, one full page requires about 2 kilobytes."? 500 pages are already one MB ... No wonder translators need large harddisks

TOPIC STARTER
can be too broad Sep 23, 2005

Hi Maria, Charlotte, Arthur and Ines!

I just wanted to mention that I tried it out this week and was slightly disappointed because it is VERY broad.

maybe the search engine is not well designed but I received a list of results that were really not connected to my search.

It's probably best to search for the general topic rather than detailed keywords, which is what I usually do on google. Different technique

sometimes too much information is not good either.
