From Competia.

We all have our favorite search tools to find relevant information.

As the web expands in terms of content, the tools that have been used in the past are being challenged by a new set of tools. These tools are presenting their results in a structured manner by clustering or

grouping their hits around a certain theme. As a result, information seekers will save an enormous amount of time by browsing through the clustered results.

This is a welcome relief from trudging through countless amount of irrelevant hits that are supplied by \"ordinary search tools\".

Tools To Try Out.

Northern Light News Search

Although Northern Light has stopped offering their free web search service, individuals can still search for news on the site. After you have entered your keywords, Northern Light groups its results in

their Custom Search Folders so that you can access the most relevant hits within seconds. The folders are located on the left-hand side of the page so there is no need to put up with clutter. This tool

should be your number one choice when you are looking for news within a specific industry.

Teoma

http://www.teoma.com

Considered to be the next great search engine, Teoma does an excellent job of clustering results in two ways besides providing hits based on keyword relevancy. For individuals who wish to refine their search, Teoma provides a list of keywords that it has grouped a set of results around. Once you have selected one of the keywords, the tool presents you with a new list of organized hits. If you are new to the subject that you are researching, Teoma also clusters its results based upon experts\' opinions by listing a number of URLs to relevant websites that has

been considered to be excellent to gather information.

Wisenut

http://www.wisenut.com

Wisenut is one of the easier clustering search tools to use. After you have plugged in your keywords, this tool provides its results in the WiseGuide that is located on the top of the first page of hits. The WiseGuide contains categories that are semantically related to the words in your query.

For very general queries or for words with multiple meanings, this feature can help you quickly find just what you\'re looking for. In addition, the number in parentheses to the right of a category shows the number of results that fall under that category. The icon to the left of the category indicates that it is further grouped into

subcategories.
