I have recently discovered that there is a special search engine within Google for searching the Microsoft resources database. You can of course search this directly yourself, but I have found it much easier to get the information I want using the Google facility. The URL is:

http://www.google.com/microsoft.html

Thank you! Jul 13, 2002

Have you tried typing \"glossary\"? The results were terrific!

and if you want to refine your search further... Jul 13, 2002

Thanks for a very useful hint! It\'ll certainly help me in my work.

If you want to refine your search further, you can add the site: command, followed by a domain. For instance, if you want to search only German sites, you can add \"site:de\" (without the quotes, of course) to your query. Works like a charm.

There\'s also a Google search for (US) Gov\'t and military sites and documents: http://www.google.com/unclesam. You also have:

http://www.fedworld.gov/

Best regards.
