A clever little improvement to Google Desktop Search

The very latest version of Google Desktop Search (released 15 March = version 3 non beta) has what seems like a minor but is in fact an incredibly useful addition.
By just pressing "Ctrl" twice you can summon up the quick search box in the centre of any window. You can get rid of the box in the same way.
I had to uninstall my previous version of GDS before I could get the thing to work but the Googleplex may have sorted this problem out by now.
