I recently purchased a dictionary of sorts for abbreviations and symbols - Dizionario di sigle, abbreviazioni e simboli (Zanichelli). In the short time I\'ve had it it\'s been invaluable. I highly recommend it. 15 Euro. I got mine through bol.com, but I\'m sure there are other outlets.
