For those of you who don\'t know yet: The Federal Republic of Germany now has an official website, which offers a representative collection of essential references to German information on the Internet.

The Federal President, Johannes Rau, officially announced the start of http://www.deutschland.de in Berlin on 17 September 2002.

The Germany-Portal is available in five languages: German, English, French, Spanish and Russian.
