I\'d like to get translators experience concerning translation tools thesaurus.

What\'s your experiment with it ? Which are the best / existing tools on the market ?

Are specific thesaurus (dedicated to one \"subject\") useful ? Do you build your own thesaurus ?

Many thanks for answers.

Multilanguage/MultiDisciplne Addin Glossary for MS Word Nov 23, 2001

I\'d just like to let you know that, in want of such a tool, I developped it myself.

The tool provides what you put in it. That is to say, as you look up terms from time to time, you can record them in its database. It\'s possible to import other peoples data and build up your glossary. Its also possible to print it out like a dictionary.

It looks and works like Word\'s thesaurus. The difference is that you can add to it, edit it and delete entries.

Your own personal ProZ glossary Dec 3, 2001

Another hint: You may also want to create your own ProZ personal glossary/glossaries.

Go to \'Glossaries\' and select \'Member personal glossaries\'.

Just start entering your terms there (you can give your glossaries any name you want) ...and earn some Browniz while you\'re at it (10 BrowniZ for each term entered - 100 Browniz will buy you a free bid as of January 1, 2001).

By the way, your personal glossaries will also show on your profile page.

Good luck
