I am looking for an open domain list of word pairs such as "car" = "coche". The primary languages I am interested in are EnglishSpanish, French, German & Italian.

I plan to work with translators to add extended definitions to the most oftenly used words and then sell electronic versions of the product on mobile devices.

Does anybody know where I could find such a list/word bank?

Thanks
