I found a good translation resource this week.

There\'s a site being built called the Internet Dictionary Project. It\'s an effort to provide translators across the world with royalty-free access to an international dictionary. The dictionary files are downloadable for free.

AND, they\'re looking for translators worldwide to help them complete their project (volunteers, no pay, sorry ... )

by translating new words and providing a definition. It might be an investment for the future, and something fun to do in your spare time.

Check it out at

Probably another effort... Dec 24, 2002 make people offer their knowledge for free at first (attracting them by free access to the data for a certain period), to collect data and then close down the site and to resell the information collected to others or even to those who contributed to the database for an annual (or whatever) membership fee.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi Steffen,

I just ran into this webpage (though not with the same URL but and it is still free - let's hope they will not change this in the future! It's really great and a good pastime when you once happen to have a break;)
