is a website providing links to a lot of documents in several languages (English, Dutch, Czech, Polish, Spanish, German, French, Turkish - probably I lost one or two...) dealing with steel and welding, most of them being the same in at least three languages. All are available as pdf and html.

Just found another multi-language website (even more languages) about technical products, mainly voltage:

Thanks... Jun 29, 2007

...For taking the time to share this tip with everyone who visits/participates here...

I specifically get "steel"-related translations, so the link is very handy.

Best,

Ivette

Me too, I'm getting this year more texts about this issue. I liked the interfase, it's helpful.

Whoever translated these terms in Latvian, should consider learning at school once again.... Seriously!

Works for me Jul 2, 2007

I compared two pages: English and Spanish, for USA. I find them acceptable and useful for my purposes and within my parameters, of course.

This type of parallel texts are of great help, even if they have mistakes. We, as translators, know what we are talking about. We do not cut and paste from sources like this, but the orientation they provide is great.

Thanks for sharing these valuable links with us! I'm sure I'll use the materials on welding more than once
