I am interested in this book, but I cannot find any detailed information about it on-line. I would appreciate any help.

For example:
How many pages does the book have?
What are the book's dimensions (trade paperback size or coffee table book)?
Is it mostly a picture book or is there a lot of text?
Would you recommend it?

The book description at
http://www.atanet.org/publications/index.php

says:
"A Professional Journey
A history of the American Translators Association from 1959 to 2009."
and that is all.

Do you know the author? Or any other details about it? Aug 31, 2011

I searched for just ATA at Amazon and the closest it came to is this:
http://www.amazon.com/Interpreting-Yesterday-Translators-Association-Scholarly/dp/9027231796/ref=sr_1_26?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1314830926&sr=1-26
"Interpreting: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow (American Translators Association Scholarly Monograph Series (Ata)) [Hardcover]"

Why don't you contact the ATA? Somebody there should know.

Thanks Trudy. I may do that. The thing is that I already contacted them in order to ask when the 2011 directory is going to come out and I hate to be a nuisance.

Updated to add: As if by serendipity, the directory just arrived in today's mail...
