Greetings.

Today is June 8, 2006.

SCATIA, for whatever unknown reason or circumstance, seems to have disbanded or dissolved, as (1) its website is inactive and (2) web searches yield no other contact data.

Sad ending to an interesting and valuable association.

ATA -- SCATIA was its regional affiliate and conducted ATA certification examinations -- apparently did not show interest in supporting SCATIA's viability.

If someone knows better or can provide details of SCATIA's gradual demise, I would be most grateful.

Regards,

Stephen H. Franke
