lost calculator

Hello
Somehow I lost Calculator in Windows XP system. All the files related to this are deleted. Do you have any idea how can I find or download just that application?

Usually it is placed in Feb 1, 2005

C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe
and has no associated files AFAIK.

Please look there first for the file calc.exe (or use the system search function). After you find it you can create a new link to that.

Restoring windows component Feb 2, 2005

If you can't find the file calc.exe as Jerzy suggests, follow the following sequence:

1. Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

2. In the icon bar on the left click on "Add/Remove Windows Compnonents"

3. Select "Accessories and Utilities" from the "Add/Remove Windows Compnonents" window, then click on the "Details ..." button below.

4. Select "Accessories" from the "Accessories and Utilities" window, then click "Details ..." again

4. Select "Accessories" from the "Accessories and Utilities" window, then click "Details ..." again

5. In the Accessories window, make sure that the "Calculator" check box is checked, the click "OK"

6. Click OK again until you're back at the "Windows Components Wizard"

7. Hit "Next"

8. All the checked components will be reinstalled if they are missing.
