Solutions:

1. Get the TM in TMX format

2. download the open-source Oliphant tool http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=42949&package_id=165973 and export it as TMX.

3. use XBench software (http://www.apsic.com/en/products_xbench.html) to convert txt to tmx

Hi,

This particular question has cropped up a few times recently. Basically, Spiros is spot on with his advice. However, I would just suggest one minor change - if I understood you correctly, you wish to use a Trados memory (in .txt format) in Wordfast. If so, do what Spiros said with Olifant, but export it in "Wordfast TM" format (open the memory, click on "File > Export" and choose "Wordfast TM" from the Format drop-down menu). You can then open it in Wordfast (remember to click on the Reorganise button in Wordfast afterwards).

Have a look at these posts as well:

You could also have a look at the wiki article on tmx conversion:

Good luck,

Simon
