Hi all! I have recently started using mac system so I installed Wordfast. After having to switch to MS Office 2004, I came across another problem: I can do some of the things I usually do in my Windows computer. I can´t "open" the Data Editor". Nothing happens when I click on the icon or the drop-down list. Nothing appears on the screen. That happens also with the classic Set-up. Am I doing something wrong or missing something really basic here? ... See more Hi all! I have recently started using mac system so I installed Wordfast. Maybe this user needs to upgrade to the latest beta (and work around some new minor problems). Look here: http://www.wordfast.net/beta/ I would not recommand using Parallel. I think WF works well enough on Mac OSX, especially since the last few betas. The learning curve may be a little slower than on PC since many keyboard shortcuts are not documented. But the financial cost of buying Parallels+Windows+MS-Office and the extra load it would puts on the machine make it a very unappealing solution. Hi Lori, thanks for your answer... I did as your post says, went to wordfast page, installed the latest beta (wfb 561e1) and tried to open the setup dialog....it does nothing! neither the data editor. What can be wrong? I am searching everywhere, still haven´t found the solution. I will now try installing another version, which I think is newer.... Make sure to download the latest version (5.61f) and select Mac as your platform. ▲ Collapse | |
