I have a TXML file to translate.
I use an old version of Wordfast.
I plan to buy a new WF version.
Which one do you advise me to acquire?
Thank you
Emilia

AFAIK, WFC (Classic) and WFP (Pro) are sold together in a package deal now.

You will need to use WFP to translate the TXML file.

When you buy the new WF, you receive both versions (Classic and Pro).

Did you pay for your version of Wordfast or did you get it for free? Because if you paid for it, and if it was less than 3 years ago, then you can download and use the Pro version (which is required for the TXML files).

If you don't mind experimenting a bit, the newest version of Toxic for OmegaT can also handle certain TXML files (so that you can translate them in OmegaT -- then you don't have to buy a new version of Wordfast). Keep in mind that Toxic is still experimental although it is certainly already being used by some translators to handle the old TTX file format.
