Unable to use Wordfast Classic on Mac OS X Lion 7.2

I have downloaded Wordfast Classic 601g on my Mac, which runs Mac OSX Lion7.2 and has MS Word 2011 installed.
Whenever I try to use the application by opening a document to translate, enabling Wordfast.dot in Tools>Templates and Add-Ins (as required by WF Classic on MS Word 2011), I get a Microsoft Visual Basic Error Message: Run-time error '7', 'Out of Memory', with the 'Debug' button deactivated.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling WF Classic several times. But to no avail. Has anyone faced a similar issue and is there a troubleshoot for this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Wordfast Classic? As far as I know the Classic version is Windows only...
You need Wordfast Pro. Or you have to install Windows in your Mac (Bootcamp, or a virtual machine: VMware Fusion, Parallels)
Regards
Oh! I see it now. It is for Mac too... Well, still can't help

I have the same problem
Jan 9
Hello,
I am sorry I cannot help you with this, since I have exactly the same problem and haven't been able to resolve it so far
I did get a bit further, clicking on the END button of the error notification. The Wordfast bar appears fully displayed and I also have a Wordfast Tab on the command bar, but none of the functions actually work and I haven't been able to locate the TM editor to set up a new TM or open an old one (most of the function names have changed!!). Sometimes I get a pop up window that makes you think you can work on the settings but, again, none of the functions work.
I have read every possible forum to find a solution and I have already notified Wordfast of this problem hoping they will fix it soon.
I encourage you (and everybody who is experiencing the same problem) to do the same and cross fingers that they will fix this or give us an alternative solution (even if it's only a paid version). I have no other alternative (OX Lion doesn't handle older versions of Word, so not possible to install Word 2004 either!!)
If anybody has found a solution, please share it.
Good luck to all of us!
Paola

Some people report success with Lion, others are having problems.
I still keep Snow Leopard on my Mac, because Lion seems to have teething problems (that are not restricted to Wordfast). My advice to the original poster would be to revert to Snow Leopard, if feasible. It seems Lion just isn't ready for prime time yet.
