I have just now come across an extremely odd and annoying quirk in Wordfast Classic (6.01g).
In this text I just began translating, whenever I would expand a segment (a number of times) to obtain the correct segment length, suddenly WF will create this large yellow or gray frame around both the source and target segments, sometimes including the following segment as well.
I can still complete the translation of the segment and move on to the next, but the large yellow or gray frame will remain, even when the text is cleaned up.
This has happened in every single paragraph where i needed to expand the segment multiple times (each time a bullet point consisting of a long sentence).
I have been using WF classic for a fair number of months now, and this has never occurred before.
There is no extraordinary formatting of any kind, these are merely long sentences containing periods in dates and abbreviations (hence the need for the multiple segment expansions).
Any help would be immensely appreciated.

I have tried WF 6.01g for the first time today and it seems unable to open a .tmx TM file and convert it into its own format. This problem does not exist in, for example, versions 5.92m and 5.61k.
Since I am not aware of any feature of 6.01 that I need and that isn't in the earlier ones, I shall simply not use it (unless somebody shows me how I can overcome that problem - I've made a posting about it to the Yahoo Wordfast group).
Another minor bug is that both 6.01g and 5.92m show double the correct number of Translation Units in a TM - 5.61k doesn't.
Of the above versions, the most reliable seems to me to be 5.61k. If you want to replace one version of WF Classic with another, you only need to replace the file wordfast.dot (but keep the other one(s) in files with different names so you can use them in future if you ever want to).

Your problem was probably specific to that document

There must have been something weird in the layout of that particular document. Wordfast Classic can be sensitive to ill-formatted documents, such as the one obtained by conversion from PDF's, by copying/pasting from web pages etc. Do you know where your document originated from? Feel free to send me a copy of that document in private for closer inspection. You can anonymize it if necessary, for instance using find/replace in order to replace all letters with x's.

I manually removed and replaced the bullet points on the first few paragraphs that were giving me the issue, and it seems the problem is no longer being reproduced in the rest of the text.
I'm hoping this was a fluke, but will bump this thread if it ever occurs again.
