Hi, I can't my MT in Wordfast Pro...I tried...edit- preferences- but no MT selections....any other ideas? Is this something I have to pay for...like google api? Its not translating anything...I have big deadline approaching and was using Wordfast Anywhere but its down now so I have to use my Pro but its just automatically translating anything.
Any other suggestions for using Wordfast pro with an online MT quick and easily appreciated.

First of all, you should make sure you are using the latest version (2.4.4). In version 2.4.4, you should find both Google Translate and Microsoft Translator. Both require an API key. See my MT playlist on Youtube for details: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL46DA45FAD7454558

Thank you so much. I think the problem was that I didn't have the latest version of Wordfast Pro. I didn't want to use the Google API but its not free but it appears to be reasonable.

You can no longer use Google Translate in Wordfast (this applies to all three versions: Classic, Pro, Anywhere) without an API key. As you said, even with heavy-duty usage (MT enabled to everything you translate), the monthly fee Google will charge you will probably not exceed 5 to 10 dollars. If even that is too much, you can always use Microsoft Translator instead. It also requires an API key, but it is free in practice for freelance translators. You can find instructions on how to obtain a Microsoft API key in the same play list I gave in my first reply to your post. Please note you must have a Hotmail or Windows Live e-mail address in order to be able to apply for a Microsoft Translator API key (if you haven't got such an address, create one, it's free).
