WFP MAC segmentation question (line breaks in Excel)

Setup: WFP (2.4.4 / Build id: 20111209-0930) on a Mac (10.7.2)
I'm dealing with an .xlxs file; some cells contain terms divided by line breaks.
When opening the file in WFP, I'd like each of these terms to appear in an individual segment (currently they are lumped together in one segment with a bunch of tags between them).
(How) can this be accomplished?

I think the best way to achieve what you want is to remove those line breaks from the xlsx file before importing to WFP.
Use excel FR to find ALT + 010 (with the cursor in the "find" field, hold down the 'Alt' button and type the numbers '010'. The field will remain blank, it looks like nothing happened, but in fact, it's there – just blank).
Replace with something like "space" + ":" which should make wordfast recognize those : as the end of a segment.
After translation, you will need to perform the opposite operation to get the cells back the way they should be with, without ":"
Do a short test on a few lines to see if it works for you before doing the operation on a *copy* of your original file.

But more recently WFP does separate these cases like it should. I don't know why. Perhaps you should re-install in order to get the initial settings back.
