converting old translations in word into wordfast TMs

I am in the process of buying the full version of wordfast. Meanwhile I downloaded the trial version and tried to convert old translations I made into Translation Memories (TM) but I couldn't do that. can any one help?

How did you try to do that? Did you try to perform "alignment"? AFAIK the newest version of PlusTools (from the Wordfast company) can do alignment without having a full version of Wordfast installed. All you need is to have your texts in plaintext or unicode text format with hard returns (newlines) between each sentence. Then align the two documents.
