Hello, HELP!
I am using Wordfast 5.16e
and all of a sudden I keep receiving this message "No glossary was selected!" after I have tried to enter a new word in the glossary. I checked everything, haven't changed anything anywhere compared to yesterday. The document I am translating has tables and graphics, can that be a problem?
Thanks in advance
Barbara

Hi Barbara, tables and graphics ar sometimes a nightmare in Word, but shouldn't have anything to do with your glossaries.
Did you try reorganising them manually? Just go to the Terminology tab, and click on the Reorganisation button in each glossary.
I think that should do the trick.
Best,
Grace.
ps. always make copies of your glossaries and TMs.

Bug Dec 19, 2005

I think it is one of Wordfast bugs.

Reorganizing is a good idea.

Another idea is restarting your computer until it works again (once or twice).

Thank you for your prompt reply, Graciela
The "Wordfast bug" gave me an idea and I changed to the older Wordfast version I had, so I noticed that "Add terms to this glossary" was back (I could not find it with Wf 5.16e, don't know why). COnsequently, reorganizing the glossaries WORKED.
Thank you thank you!

Thank you, your talking about Wf bug made me decide to use the older version and it worked.
I'll try the newer one later, starting my PC again and again as you suggest, when I am not so much in a hurry to finish.

Thanks again
